The Napster music is DRM-protected. So you may not be able to play the downloaded music with other incompatible devices like Apple iPod, Microsoft Zune, etc. When the subscription expired, you won't keep the music. Or, you need continue to pay.

As we all know, iPod is one of the most popular and successful MP3 players. And you can purchase various music songs from iTunes Store for your iPod. However, somebody may prefer Napster, or there are some songs in Napster that are unavailable in iTunes store, yet you do want to enjoy these songs with your new iPod, but Naspter is incompatible with iPod.

1. Download the latest verison of ShareDRMusic, and install it.

You may download the latest version of ShareDRMusic here. Then install it. After installation finished, please restart your computer.

2. Run Share DRM Music, click Settings button to set output folder and output format.

Set output folder and some parameters related to output MP3. You may keep the default values, it's OK.

3. Create a new playlist in Napster to convert

Under "My Playlist", click the "New Playlist" button to create a new playlist. Drag and drop to the playlist the music you are going to convert from your Napster Library.

4. Make CD burning settings in Napster

Click menu "Tools", and select "Preference..." from the drop-down list. In the left panel of "Options", clik on "CD Options". Then in the right panel of "CD Options", choose "ShareDRM virtual CDRW" as the preferred CD burner.

Note: Please check "Burn CD Text" checkbox to preserve the metadata of the music files.

5. Get output MP3 files in ShareDRMusic

When burning is finished, You will find all converted music files are listed in the main window of ShareDRMusic. Maybe ShareDRMusic is still encoding MP3/AAC, please wait until it finished. Then you may click Folder button to view the output files. After import those MP3 files into your iTunes, you may sync them into you iPod.

The most important step is to choose the CD burner. Then the software can convert the music files automatically. It is exceedingly easy when you want to batch convert lots of files.
